About Jeffersontown, KY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Jeffersontown, Kentucky is a major Louisville suburb. Home to approximately 27,000 residents, it is the largest municipality within the Metro Area, outside of Louisville. Originally a stopover for early settlers who traveled to the Falls of the Ohio, the city incorporated in 1797 and named for then-Vice President Thomas Jefferson. While many residents commute into the city for work, there are ample employment opportunities located directly within Jeffersontown, including those at the 850 businesses within the Bluegrass Commerce Park.

While most of the major area attractions are found within Louisville, there are a few interesting places to visit directly in Jeffersontown. Outdoor recreation is available at Grim Trails and the Charlie Vettiner Park, and the local bowling alley Kingpin Lanes is a popular hangout on a Friday night.  There are also several places to get a delicious meal in Jeffersontown, including the local Cracker Barrel, Recbar, and the Pass Time Fish House Tavern.

Whether you live in Jeffersontown or plan to visit when in the Louisville area, you need to be prepared for what Mother Nature has in store. This includes hot, hazy, and humid summer months, and temperatures often reach well into the 90s. A reliable central air conditioner will keep indoor temperatures comfortable while also improving air quality. Considering the Louisville area has been ranked as major city for air pollution, this feature is especially important for local residents and their respiratory health.

Most Jeffersontown residents look at the cool or mild winters as a major benefit to living in the area. The region is typically warmer than other parts of the country from December through early March, and each year, only about a foot of snow falls. Low temperatures can fall below freezing, especially overnight, so a reliable gas or electric heat pump is still a necessity.
